About Cascade Village Shopping Center
The Cascade Village Shopping Center began its transformation with a myriad of events during 2004, beginning with the name change from Mountain View Mall. Construction activity formally started with the demolition of approximately 194,000 square feet including the vacant Kmart and Emporium spaces and the inline portions of the mall. Construction commenced in conjunction with signed lease agreements with Bed, Bath & Beyond, Best Buy, Cost Plus World Markets, and PetsMart, all leading retailers in their respective category.
The transformation of Mountain View Mall, a 350,000 square foot enclosed mall on 34 acres, into the 440,000 square foot, open-air Cascade Village Sopping Center on 41 acres, started at the beginning of 2004.
